How Play grants can help

Play grants from the 黄色短视频 Foundation fund community programming so that all ages can play and create.

Expanding access to the arts

Our investments enhance economic vitality, expand access and support arts education in local communities. Organizations and programs funded by our Play grants:

  • Help people and families in underserved communities access cultural activities, visual and performing arts, zoos, aquariums and botanic gardens
  • Enhance the economic vitality of the community via local arts groups
  • Bring visual and performing arts to low- and moderate-income K-12 schools and youth centers

Supporting learning through play

We fund play-based programs that foster innovation, creativity and collaboration. These programs support young people (grades K-12) in low- and moderate-income communities. Recipients of Play grants:

  • Build or expand access to active play spaces that help students learn through play
  • Improve the health, safety and unification of neighborhoods
  • Use active play to develop cognitive, social and emotional learning skills

Preserving outdoor places to play

Environmental stewardship improves the quality of live in our communities. We support efforts to preserve, protect and enhance outdoor spaces by funding programs or organizations that:

  • Clean up community spaces, including (but not limited to) beaches, rivers and streams
  • Protect green spaces within the community, including planting trees, mangroves and seagrass
  • Support community composting, community gardens, native gardens and/or pollinator gardens
