The Women鈥檚 Forum of聽New York honored companies with significant female representation on their corporate boards
U.S. Bancorp聽was recently recognized by the Women鈥檚 Forum of New York聽for expanding female board representation. The organization鈥檚 biennial Breakfast of Corporate Champions event brings together CEOs, board directors and government officials in support of the shared goal of achieving 50/50 gender parity in the boardroom by 2025.
U.S. Bancorp joined 233 S&P聽500 and Fortune 1000 companies honored at the event yesterday at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. Last year, about 27% of corporate board seats in North America were held by women, up from 22% in 2020.

The U.S. Bancorp board has previously received recognition for its gender representation, including a No. 2 ranking on Bank Director鈥檚 2022 list of Best Boards. In addition to citing the board鈥檚 diverse composition, the publication also gave the U.S. Bancorp board high marks for its governance practices.
